With our Dedicated Toll-Free Advanced Features, customers can create a customized call routing plan according to the exact needs of their business. Choose from 15 advanced features organized in the 4 categories of Routing, Redirection, Announcement and Control.
Routing
Routing features route calls according to the incoming telephone number or the time. By steering specific calls to specialized operators or call centers, and by managing traffic according to business high and low calling periods, efficiency, productivity and customer service can be improved.
Day Manager
Automatically routes toll-free calls to a different location(s) or routing arrangement(s) based on the day of the week.
Time Manager
Automatically routes toll-free calls to a different location(s) or routing arrangement(s) based on the time of day.
Area Code Routing
Routes toll-free calls based on the area code of the caller.
Exchange Code Routing
Automatically routes toll-free calls based on the caller's area code and local exchange.
Caller Recognition Routing
Routes toll-free calls based on the caller's 10-digit telephone number. Identifying incoming calls allows for best customer recognition and enables priority service.
Redirection
The redirection feature redirects calls when phone lines or customer service representatives are busy. Never miss another call, never miss another business opportunity, and keep customers calling back for 1st class customer service.
Alternate Destination Routing
The pre-answer feature automatically re-routes calls to a predefined location when a "busy" or "ring no-answer" condition is detected.
Next Available Agent Routing
This pre-answer feature routes calls to up to 99 locations when the primary location is busy. Changes can be made in near real-time.
Network Queuing
This feature works with Next Available Agent Routing. It places the toll-free call "on hold" in the AT&T network until an agent is available, plays a customized announcement and provides the ability to predetermine how long a call will remain on hold.
Transfer Connect
This post-answer feature is network based and allows the customer to redirect toll-free calls to any domestic toll-free or POT number via a single access termination. There are three call handling options: Courtesy Transfer, Consult & Transfer, and Conference & Transfer. It supports both live agents and Interactive Voice Response devices.
Announcement
The announcement feature provides helpful information, such as enroute announcements, courtesy messages and menu options - so you can improve the customer's calling experience with faster, more efficient service.
Call Prompter
This feature routes calls to different locations or routing arrangements based on a caller's response to a voice menu or announcement.
Enroute Announcements
With an enroute announcement offers the ability to play a customized message to the caller at a specified point during the call. This feature can help deliver faster service by preparing callers for transactions. For example, "Thank you for calling XYZ Inc., please have your account number ready."
Courtesy Response
A network based customized announcement (informational announcement) to the caller prior to terminating the call. For example, "Thank you for calling XYZ Inc. Our office is currently closed. Please call again during our normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM Eastern Time." This feature can support recorded messages during an emergency and inclement weather.
Control
The control features gives customers the power to change routing features whenever they want. It allows for planning to accommodate traffic peaks, changes in business activity, or emergencies, and ensures that the business is prepared for anything.
Select Routing
Create and store up to six different routing plans for each toll-free number with select routing. Customers can alter their routing plans for specific situations or circumstances. It is flexible to respond to peak business activities, holiday staffing needs, or disaster/contingency planning.
Routing Control Service
This network management tool provides an array of near real time, quick routing capabilities on the Web, for toll-free routing plans without having to issue a service order.
